MASSOB CLAIMS RADIO BIAFRA'S NNAMDI KANU HAS BEEN KILLED BY NIGERIAN SECURITY FORCES

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has alleged that Nnamdi Kanu, the man behind the Radio Biafra in the United Kingdom who was arrested in Lagos, Nigeria on October 17, 2015 has been killed by the Nigerian security forces.

A statement by the Director of Information of a faction of MASSOB released in Abakaliki, Ebonyi, Nigeria Comrade Uchenna Madu informed the public that security operatives in Abuja, Nigeria close to MASSOB made the revelation. He, however, said MASSOB was waiting till Monday, November 23, 2015 date when the trial court ordered that Mr. Kanu should be produced in couret by the security forces.

The statement warned of grave consequences for the country if Mr. Kanu was killed extra judicially.

The Director of Information called on Pan Igbo groups like Ohaneze Ndigbo, South East governors, Igbo leaders of Thought, Igbo National Assembly members, South East and South South professionals, traditional/religious leaders to call upon President Muhammadu Buhari to act in line with the human rights provisions.

The statement demanded the production of Mr. Nnamdi Kanu in court on Monday as ordered.
