Governor of Cross River State, Sen. (Prof.) Ben Ayade would today, Sunday, November 22, 2015 in Lagos, Nigeria unveil the theme of the 2015 edition of the Carnival Calabar. The Carnival Calabar known also as Africa's biggest street party, he has promised would be a more improved version, different from what obtained in the past.

This year's unveiling comes up the same day with the opening of West Africa's biggest travel
exhibition, Akwaaba African Travel Market. The Carnival Calabar intends to take the opportunity of the presence of 100's of delegates from all over the world attending the Akwaaba event to sell the Carnival internationally and showcase what to expect in Calabar later in December.

The Lagos unveiling of Carnival Calabar which is a yearly event is to be hosted this year by Governor Ayade with the support of Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, the Chairman of the Carnival Calabar Band Association.
The event promises to be a delight.
