| ONAZI AND FRIENDS WAITING FOR AKARA |
Nigerian international, Ogenyi Onazi
who is presently in Jos, Nigeria for his holidays from the Serie A league break
decided to go back to his roots as he went on the streets in search of the
local beans delicacy Akara in reminisce of his growing up which he did in Jos
before moving to Lagos and eventually overseas.
Onazi started playing football in
the streets of Jos with some football academies then moved to Lagos where he
played in the My People FC, a team owned by Prophet T. B. Joshua and presently
is based in Italy where he plays professional football for Lazio FC.
Not to miss the home cooking, Onazi not only had
the Akara meal but he shared a picture of himself on Instagram, buying the
Akara by the roadside with the following message “That moment when the #Jos
weather is too cold and you’ve got to book for your #Akara to step it down,”
