Lamar Odom, the basketball star
seems to have his star dim for the moment as he is said to have had 12 strokes
after his collapse in the Nevada, Las Vegas brothel days back. Doctors found
this out after a series of brain scans. Lamar’s ability to walk and talk is
affected and he could also be suffering from a major kidney failure and may
need to undergo a kidney transplant. Lamar, who is said to be suffering from a
form of pneumonia, is to have six hours of dialysis each day to remove waste
and excess water from the blood but eventually may need a kidney transplant. More
tests are to be carried out on his brain to find out the full extent of the
damage from the strokes.
