JAMAICANS

Doctors in Jamaica have issued stern warning to party goes after a video of a party scene showing two men dancing with one repeatedly hitting the other on the head with a metal object went viral on several social media networks.

The video seems to pass the message that one can be resistant to pain but the doctors are coming out to warn that this dance step can lead to death. Their concern is also that the video has received a lot of views and can help to popularize the dance causing much harm to persons who may be convinced to try out the dance with dire consequences.

In the party video, the sound of the metal object impacting on the other man's head is heard loudly and he is seen to be comfortable with the hits which numbered over 15.

The doctors, however, warn against such dangerous acts at parties, stating that though apparently unharmful, it could result in inflammation of the head, a fracture to the skull and end in either a minor injury or one serious enough to cause death.

Doctors listed many other medical conditions that could be caused by such repeated knocks to the head and advised against all acts in this line, noting that nobody would like to be the reason for the death of another human being or his serious injury.

The police also warn that anyone who carries out such dangerous dance steps would be held liable and be tried in a court of law.

Now let us look at this new trend critically, is there any reason for party goers to involve themselves in such dance steps, which can cause harm rather than fun for which they went to the party in the first place. Let us be reasonable guys!
