SENATOR DAVID MARK
The Court of Appeal sitting in Makurdi, Benue State today, Saturday, November 28, 2015 nullified the 2015 election of Senator David Mark, former President of the Senate, which saw him return to the Senate as an ordinary member.

The court which delivered its verdict in the suit, in favour of Daniel Onjeh of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who brought the matter before it asking for a cancellation of the 2015 elections.
The Court of Appeal in its judgment ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a fresh election into the Benue South Senatorial District seat, which Mark had won on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
