FORBES RATES NIGERIA'S DANGOTE RICHESTY AFRICAN EVEN AFTER LOSING $5B

Aliko Dangote of the Dangote Conglomorate has retained his rating as Africa's richest man according to the list released by Forbes on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, this is the fifth year as the richest in Africa in the Forbes 2015 50 richest list despite his loss of $5B.


Out of the 50, two are women, Angola's Isabel Dos Santos at number 8 and Nigeria's Folarunsho Alakija at number 13.

South Africa has 16 persons on the list to come tops while Nigeria comes second with ten persons down from 13 in 2014.

The oldest person on the Forbes list is a Morrocan, Milord Chaabi aged 86 years while the youngest is a Tanzanian, Mohammed Dewji aged 40.

The second rated Nigerian on the list is Mike Adenuga of Globacom and the next is Alakija at 13 and Femi Otedola at 16.
