Australian-American Rupert Murdock, 84 and
current love, American former supermodel and actress Jerry Hall, 59, seemed to
have upped the ante soon after they attended the Golden Globes award night
Sunday. They have started the journey to seal their love with the announcement
of their engagement which appeared in the London based newspaper The Times
owned by Murdock.
The announcement which listed their children, six
for Murdoch and 4 for Miss Jerry Hall stated that they both were "delighted"
to be engaged.
Rumors of the relationship
between the two emerged last year and shortly thereafter they came out publicly
where they kissed and held hands at an event. They have since shown deep love
for each other with Murdock divorcing his third wife, Wendi Deng and Hall
ending her relationship with Mick Jagger.
Anyways, Murdock was at the
Golden Globe with Hall and both shared their company throughout, in the
presence of Murduck’s son Lachlan who was also with his wife, Sarah.
Information has it that the lovers got to know
themselves through members of media mogul’s relatives based in Australia when Hall was
at Melbourne for a performance in The Graduate about a year ago.
While the new lovers bask in each other’s company
and plan for their life ahead, no dates have been fixed for the wedding yet.
