December would remain indelible in the mind of a group of ophans as they got to
spend time with Nollywood Actress Annie Idibia who is also the wife of music superstar
Tuface of the You Are My African Queen fame.
Annie
Idibia says she honored an invitation to spend some time with the children and
remains grateful for the opportunity the interaction offered her to appreciate more
the little things in life. The Nollywood star took to her Instagram handle to express
her feelings with a mind touching message:
“Today
was very exciting and yet emotional for me. These kids have never been to the
cinema or watch a movie on a very big screen so when @orphanscorp called and
told me about their ideal, I totally fell for it. It was different. It was
something I never thought of doing. It was quite exposing and educating for
them. They were excited! We should never take the grace of God in our lives for
granted. All these kids do not know the love of a father or mother! Or what it
feels like to have a parent take you out, run after you, check on you every
minutes, they feel alone most times from a very tender age. Being so close to
them today got me thinking”.
Annie
is reported to be one person known to show interest in making a contribution to
the development of her society, where possible. In October 26, at the Terra
Kulture, she was present to inspire the young minds at the Eve secondary school
in a series tagged #YourDreamsOurReality and soon after she as she finished she
posted a message on her Instagram and she started to get the attention of her
fans who showered encomiums on her for finding time to be with the kids and also
for finding out time to share her experience online.
