A husband and father of seven children has left all
that after she says she realized she was transgender, Canadian, Stefonknee Wolscht previously
known as Paul left her family home to live life as a six-year-old girl with
friends she calls his “adoptive parents”.
Speaking with the Daily Extra and the Transgender
Project, Stefonkee talks of how she was married for 23 years, he says "I
can’t deny I was married, I can’t deny I have children. But I’ve gone back to
being a child". Some sources, however, question his mental state.
Stefonknee, 46, says her family did not understand
her decision and this led to her moving out of their home. She spoke of her former life as
Paul, the husband married to his wife, Maria and job then as a mechanic.
She says after her family's unfavorable reaction to her decision, she suffered rejection
and tried to commit suicide on two occasions but said she is now a dedicated
member of the Catholic Church and the LGBT friendly religious group,
Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto.
