Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, (PDP) representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District fulfilled his promise to give half of his wardrobe allowance as senator to the widows of his Akasa community over the weekend. Sen. Bruce has been seen to be pro-people since his entry into the Senate, stating that he is in the Senate to create wealth for his people.
He had sometime ago come out to state his opposition to any plan to reduce the minimum wage paid in Nigeria, saying it was not adequate.
