Michelle Obama, America’s first lady
recently appeared in a rap music video with Saturday Night Live's Jay Pharaoh.
It definitely was for a good cause as Michelle in the track is dropping some
serious lines about a very important cause to her heart: college!
The First Lady appears in the funny
hip-hop video as a part of the Obama administration's "Better Make
Room" initiative which seeks to encourage kids to seek a higher education.
In the video featured on the website College Humor the two deliver the
important message of aiming high and going to college to land the dream job you
want. The first lady also known as FLOTUS, also shows off some slick moves
while dancing with Pharaoh throughout most of the video, wearing oversized
sunglasses, raining down dollar bills and strutting her stuff on the White
House lawn.
The first lady has put the musical
video online in a playlist on Spotify as a means of spreading the message of women
empowerment.
