This new detail on the attack was provided on Saturday evening by Paris prosecutor Francois Molins. The information also has it that one of the attackers was known to the French police as a "radicalised person" while another is suspected to have had a Syrian passport and had recently passed through Greece as a refugee.
There has been the arrest of three suspects all French nationals on suspicion of being co-conspirators, which was effected over the border in Belgium. Seven terrorists were killed in the attacks.
A timeline of the attacks show that the first attack was at 9.20pm on Friday when an explosion occurred near gate D of the Stade de France where a friendly football match between France and Germany was going on. The attacker tried to enter the stadium and when his explosive vest was detected during a security search he detonated it. The explosion left the attacker and a passer by dead.
Thereafter, another set of attackers in a black Seat car shot at people in the Petit Cambodge and Carrillon bars, spraying bullets on the buildings and the people who sat eating and drinking at tables outside. This left fifteen people died and another 10 seriously injured.
There was a second explosion outside gate H of Stade de France at 9.30pm and the body of a second bomber was later discovered there with a similar vest with explosives similar to the first explosion.

There was subsequently a shootout in front of a bar around the city center. The attackers left five dead and eight injured with about 100 bullet cases scattered on the ground.
This was followed soon after by a gun battle at the Belle Equipe bar nearby which left nine people with near fatal injuries. Nearby a suicide bomber exploded a device identical to the others leaving one person seriously injured and some others less seriously injured.
The next attack was at 10.40pm with a black Volkswagen Polo car parked in front of the Bataclan Concert Hall. The attackers entered the concert hall and opened fire, with most of their victims those in front of the stage. They were heard to mention Syria and Iraq as they carried out the attack and two of them then activated their suicide belts. In this particular attack 89 people were killed in the concert hall and many others injured.
The final attack was a third explosion around the Stade de France which left a suicide attacker
For now most of Paris' public places including the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower remain shut until further notice. Many activities including cultural and sporting events have been cancelled while schools will open on Monday, November 16, 2015.
