NIGERIAN MUSIC STAR TUFACE INSTALLED CHIEF IN KADUNA STATE

Benue State born Tuface Idibia, Nigerian music superstar who recently celebrated his 40TH birthday in grand style on Tuesday added another feather to his crown when he was given a chieftaincy title in Kaduna State, Nigeria.

He was turbaned (installed as a chief) 'Tafidan Kudenda' and this took place at the community's traditional ruler, Gabriel Galadima's palace in Kudenda in Chikum Local Government Area.


Tuface was given the chieftaincy title in appreciation of his pet project Voice No Violence which the traditional ruler said had helped to inculcate peaceful resolution of conflicts in his domain. He also noted that Tuface not only sang about peace but was practical about it.

Tuface expressed his appreciation over the honour, pledging to be a good ambassador of the Kudenda community.

Tuface as part of his itinerary paid a courtesy call on the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai at the Government House, Kaduna.
