Coach of the champion of the recent U-23 World Cup, Chile 2015, Samson Siasia's aged mother Madam Ogere Siasia was on Monday, November 16, 2015 kidnapped from her Odoni village in Saghama Local Government Area of Bayelsa state, Nigeria.
The armed kidnappers who left by motor cycles took her away despite pleas by her husband. It is believed that the kidnappers had been monitoring the Siasia family house for a while before they struck.
Coach Siasia who is presently in Gambia is said to be in shock over the incident and has called on the kidnappers to release his mother. No request for ransom has so far been made.
