The popular Nigerian actor, Ali Nuhu has dispelled rumours
that he is dead.
Nuhu 41, was alleged to have been murdered by armed
robbers who reportedly attacked him at his residence in Kano.
Speaking in an interview with BBC Hausa Service on
Sunday, the Kannywood actor denied the occurrence of such robbery.
The actor said he was currently in Jos, Plateau state
shooting a movie, adding that he was in good health and there was never any
robbery at his residence.
Nuhu said he had received lots of phone calls from
people asking if he was alright.
He attributed the rumour of his death to haters who do
not wish him well.
Ali Nuhu
is a Nigerian actor, producer and director. He is an ambassador for Globacom
and Royco. He won the Best Upcoming Actor award at the 3rd Africa Movie Academy
Awards.
