LATE PRINCE ABUBAKAR AUDU
Earlier, the hometown of Abubakar Audu was in a state of uncertainty due to the delay in the burial of the late politician which was to be held on Monday morning. Worried by the delay tense mourners demanded that his corpse be brought out. Only the presence of policemen in the deceased's family home helped to stop a complete breakdown of law and order.

The delay was said to have been caused by the prayer session of a cleric invited to conjure the resurrection of the body. This was not to be as eventually the body was lowered into the grave for final rest.
