AN EXCHANGE STUDENT FROM SIERRA LEONE RECEIVES EYE SIGHT IN IDAHO, USA.

NORMAL EYE

EYE WITH CATARACT

A student, Joseph Sesay from Sierra Leone but on a student exchange program in Idaho, USA has gotten a new lease of life.
Joseph a student at the Boise High School was over the weekend given back his eye sight which he lost to congenital cataract, a condition of the clouding of the eye lens which impedes the passage of light leaving the sufferer with blurred or no sight at all.
He underwent surgery to have this removed and in the process he lost his walking cane, a companion of several years but gained a priceless replacement; his eye sight.
The eye surgery was paid for with funds raised from contributions to a GoFundme account put up for the purpose.
Joseph expressed great joy and appreciation for the restoration of his sight and waits eagerly for the day his two brothers who are blind would be able to undergo the same surgery and get back their sight.
At the end of the day, extra money in the GoFundme account is expected to go to the Milton Margai School, a school for the blind in Joseph's home country, Sierra Leone.
What a beautiful ending or what do you say? We need more of this kind of assistance.
