| THE DECEASED COUPLE |
Mr.
John Rodgers, 28, and his new wife, Lynette, 26, of Holywood in County Down,
Northern Ireland, died by drowning in South Africa and were found on a beach in
the bay on Friday, October 23, 2015, just six days after their wedding. The
local emergency services were called at about 6pm after Mr Rodgers' body was
found in shallow surf on Robberg Beach. Two women also going for a walk along
the beach found Mrs Rodgers' body about 200 metres away from his. The doctors
attempted to revive them but the honeymooners, who were married in Holywood
last Saturday, were declared dead at the scene.
