MAN 57, DIES MID-AIR ON ARIK AIR FLIGHT FROM OWERRI TO LAGOS, NIGERIA

Mr. Albert Nnadi, a 57 year old man today, Wednesday, reportedly died on board an Arik Air commercial flight which took off from Owerri, East Nigeria for Lagos, West Nigeria.

The passenger who made the journey with his relation, Mr. Damien Nwachukwu was on his way to Lagos to get medical assistance for his weight problem (Obesity) when the unfortunate incident took place.


It was observed that in the course of the flight Mr. Nnadi was experiencing discomfort and quite uneasy. However, upon the landing of the plane in Lagos and as other passengers made to disembark from the plane, the deceased was discovered to be dead and unresponsive.

The management of Arik Air in a statement by its Communication Manager, Ola Adebanji confirmed the death of the passenger mid-air on its Owerri - Lagos flight. He said the body of the deceased had been deposited by the police in the mortuary, who were also investigating the immediate cause of his death.
