Rivers
state Governor Nyesom Wike’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Opunabo
Inko-Tariah, has resigned from his post.
The
former SA in his resignation letter submitted to the governor on Friday,
November 6, 2015, stated that he took the step because unfolding developments
in the state indicated that his services were no longer required by his
principal.
He
thanked Governor Wike for giving him the opportunity to serve him and the state
as a Special Adviser and noted that throughout his service as the Special
Adviser no journalist or policeman was threatened.
Mr.
Tariah expressed his wishes for God`s guidance and blessings on the governor as
I exits his government.
There
is yet no response from the governor on the resignation of Mr. Tariah.
