Nigeria U-23 national team coach,
Samson Siasia’s mother today regained her freedom after a thirteen days stay
with the kidnappers who took her from her family home in Odoni community of
Sagama Local Council Area of Bayelsa State in the presence of her husband.
The spokesman of the Bayelsa State police, Asinim
Butswat reported that Madam Beauty Siasia was dropped by the kidnappers on the
highway of the East- West road early this Saturday.
Mr. Butswat stated that Madam Siasia who was hale
and hearty had been reunited with her family. He added that Madam Siasia,
who was abducted on November 16 2015, was abandoned by her abductors
along the East-West Road at about 1:30am, 28 November 2015, while being pursued
by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Police Command.
The police PRO did not state if any ransom
had been paid to secure her release.
