The internet is awash with the story and pictures of the result of a domestic squabble between a newly wed lawyer Nonso Paul Nzeribe and his wife, Nwogo.

The couple who wed in December 2014 have had several rifts leading to the physical abuse of the wife by the husband.
It is reported that the birth of their son, Emeka aged 4 months had not helped to stop the beating and bashing of the wife. Infact, she escaped to the Rudghe police station to report the abuse after she was beaten and stabbed by her husband on the day she was discharged from the hospital after having their baby through a cesarean section (c/s) operation. The police subsequently invited Nonso for questioning but he failed to report at the station.
However, the husband Nonso is alleged to have on November 16, 2015 attacked the wife with a plier for reporting the physical abuse, leaving her a partially severed ear as seen in the picture above.
