GHANAIAN FILM STAR YVONNE NELSON PISSED AT NIGERIAN ASSAULTER

Ghanaian film star, producer, model and one time Miss Ghana contestant, Yvonne Nelson, 30 is angry with the police authorities in Accra, Ghana over an assault on her by a Nigerian man, Elvis Eze.

She alleges that Mr. Eze at a birthday party for a friend, Ingrid Alabi demanded for a hug which she refused. She states that Eze thereafter followed her and when she tried to get into her car, he shoved her on her head.

She said she made a report at the Accra Airport police station where the Crime Officer, Felix Anyidoho made a record of her assault complaint. She alleges that since her report the police has neither arrested nor questioned the suspect.

The police on its own says the suspect shortly after the incident traveled out of Ghana and so no progress could be made on the report. The Crime Officer expressed surprise on the allegation by Yvonne, recalling that she was the one who informed the police that Eze had gone to Nigeria. He said the police could not be expected to track the suspect to Nigeria only on an assault case.

However, the Crime Officer noted that the suspect was back in Ghana and would be invited to the police station for a resolution of the matter.
