CEO of Konvict Music, Aliaume Damala Badara Akon Thiam (born April 16, 1973) pictured above is a Senegalese-American rapper, songwriter, businessman, and record producer. He founded two successful record labels, Konvict Muzik and Kon Live Distribution. Akon’s second album, Konvicted got three nominations for the Grammy Awards in two categories, Best Contemporary R&B Album for Konvicted album and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “Smack That” and “I Wanna Love You”. He is the first solo artist to hold both the number one and two spots simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 charts two times.

MAVIN Records CEO and Producer, MTN, Samsung and loyal record milk ambassador, Michael Collins Ajereh (born 26 November 1982) is a Nigerian multi award-winning record producer, singer-songwriter, musician, former CEO of Mo’ Hits Records and current CEO of Mavin Records. Don Jazzy’s first full credit production work was in 2004 on Tongolo for Nigerian singer D’banj. He went on to produce D’banj’s first studio album titled No Long Thingreleased in 2005. He has produced tracks for Dr SID, Wande Coal, Emeka Infiniti, D’Prince, Darey, Naeto C, Olakunle Excel et Zanga, Sauce Kid, Ikechukwu & Tiwa Savage. He also collaborated with Jay-Z and Kanye West on the production of Lift Off, featuring Beyoncé on the album Watch The Throne, released on 8 August 2011.

P-Square are a Nigerian R&B duo composed of identical twin brothers Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye. They produce and release their albums through Square Records. In December 2011, they signed a record deal with Akon’s Konvict Muzik label. In May 2012, they signed a record distribution deal with Universal Music South Africa.

Best International Act: Africa at the 2011 BET Awards and Best-selling African Artist at the 2014 World Music Awards, Evolution award at the 2015 MTV Africa Music awards.

He started his musical career at age 11; releasing a collaborative album with Glorious Five entitled Lil Prinz (2001). In 2009, he signed a record deal with Banky W.’s imprint Empire Mates Entertainment. He rose to prominence in 2010 with the release of the song “Holla at Your Boy” from his debut studio album, Superstar (2011).
