ARMED MEN HOLD 170 HOSTAGE IN LUXURY HOTEL IN MALI

Islamist's gunmen today, Friday, November 20, 2015 took over the Radisson Blu luxury hotel in Bamako, Mali. The gunmen held 170 hostages made up of 140 guests and 30 staff of the hotel. About eighty of the hostages are said to have been released, some after saying some Islamic verses on instruction.


The Islamists numbering about 10 attacked the hotel at about 7am. They are yet to be identified nor their group known.

It is believed that the attack has left about three of the hostages dead. This attack comes a few days after the terrorists attacks in Paris, France resulted in the death of 129 persons.
